About Us

My name is Loa and I am the mother of 10 kids, 5 girls, and 5 boys of varying personalities and interests, stretching over a 26 year span. I live in a small town in the Mountain Northwest with limited entertainment, thus good movie rentals play a big part in my family's life.

I know how frustrating it can be to sit down to what seems to be a good movie, only to cover the child to either side of me's eyes and ears through half of it. I've learned that what my 30 year old son considers good entertainment is rarely appropriate for my 9 year old daughter to watch. So I know that a good review should include age appropriateness, and amounts of: bad language, violence, and sexuality.

I do not consider R rated movies appropriate for families so that is why you'll never see a review for one here.

All the reviews you read here are about movies personally watched by me, and new ones are added as I watch something new. So expect to see at least 4 new reviews a week and I hope a little bit of work by me will help make your family's viewing a bit more predictable and pleasant!
